About Black Image Center
Ideal for intimate workshops, photo/ portrait sessions, the Black Image Center space is a large open room with three skylights and some pieces of art on the walls that are easily removed, and cement flooring. When you first walk in, there is a book nook with some vintage couches and a bookshelf full of art books by Black artists. The space has three skylights, a small backyard, and a large bathroom. There is an additional sink outside the bathroom with a built in water filter. The front of the studio is all windows so there is a lot of natural light in the space. This space has been used to host portrait sessions, art workshops, and open studio/open house events.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The space itself is exactly like it looks in the pictures. It's clean, dynamic, and has great amenities like easy street parking and an on-site bathroom. The owners of the studio are also fabulous. They're quick to reply and very easy to work with. Nothing but praise and thanks over here!

We used this space for a video studio shoot - there is a lot of open space inside and it was easy to work with. Equipment was easy to load in the front door, just know that the front parking is only 1 hour so you can load in but will have to move your cars after the load in process but there is plenty of metered parking around the corner.
