Street parking is the only parking available and there is no dedicated parking for the studio. There is free 2hr parking south of Dearborn and paid 2hr parking north of Dearborn.

Please note. Engaging in sexual acts of any kind is not permitted in the studio. Please slide the black lock on the door to ensure privacy for your booking, especially photographing boudoir. Do not use the lock on the door handle. Privacy. For the safety of Northlight and our renters, please be informed that there is one camera visibly placed above the door in the top right corner. Camera footage is only reviewed in the case of an emergency situation or theft. The camera footage is NOT viewed during or after the time of the rental. If you (the renter or client to the renter) encounter an uncomfortable situation while in the studio, please alert us immediately. Your safety and well being is of utmost priority. If you’d like more privacy from the west facing windows, you are welcome to lower the blackout curtains during your booking. Behind the green curtains, you have access to a dressing room. There is a door to access another room. This door will never be opened and is locked both ways. Using the bed. If the bedsheets are not clean after your use, please text or call Benjamin at 360-915-4602 and we’ll have it taken care of, but please not that this may be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $50 so please try your best to keep them clean. The bed has two duvets. The top layer is a tan quilt, and the bottom layer is a white duvet with a white duvet cover. Feel free to remove the top duvet. If removed, place it back once you are finished. Avoid placing either duvet on the ground to ensure the duvets are kept clean for other studio renters. You are more than welcome to utilize your own bed sheets, blankets, etc. if you prefer. Please place the original bedding back on the bed when you are finished. Using props. We’re happy to share the items in the space! The bed cannot be move, but other items can. Please be respect when moving items around. You are responsible for any damaged items and there will be a fee charged for any items damaged during your booking. The fee is dependent on the cost/worth of the item. Do not drag furniture on the floor to avoid scuffs on the ground. The mirror is very heavy. Move with caution. Clean up process. Please utilize our checkout checklist to assist you through resetting the studio. Please allow a minimum of 15 minutes at the end of your booking to clean and reset the room for the next renter. Please note that you may need more time to clean and reset based on how you utilize the studio— plan accordingly. Backdrops/Seamless Paper All backdrops/seamless paper are free to use unless purposeful damage will be taking place. Any damaged (ripped, wet, etc.) paper is charged at $15 per 8 feet. This cost goes back to the purchase of more paper for your use/convenience. Length of Use Your session time starts from the moment the first person of your crew comes into the studio, and ends when the last person of your crew leaves the studio. The time you need to set-up is part of your session. Please consider the time needed for set-up/prep when booking. Any renter that goes 15 minutes past the original end time of their booking will be charged for an additional hour. Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period. The equipment must be arranged to the approximate previous positions. If the studio requires additional cleaning after renter’s session, or there are any hard-to-clean material (e.g. glitter, oils, spills, confetti, make up, etc) left anywhere in the studio after Renter’s session, Renter will be charged a $50 cleaning fee* . Additional Rules Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted in the studio. No smoking in the studio or building is permitted. If the renters, or anyone in the renter’s party is found smoking, the shoot will be immediately terminated and the renter will be asked to leave. A representative from Northlight Studio may be on site during your project but will not assist in loading or unloading or any tasks during your project. Music must stay at a respectful volume, if complaints are made by neighbors, the shoot will be immediately terminated and the renter will be asked to leave. Upstairs loft is off limits. No exceptions unless approved by Northlight Studio staff. No Filming or Photography can take place outside of the studio. That includes hallways, staircases and Rooftop. If the renter, or anyone in the renter’s party is found on Rooftop, the shoot will be immediately terminated and the renter will be asked to leave. No pets are allowed in the studio without authorization from Northlight Studio staff Damage Renter shall be solely responsible for any damage to property or equipment that occurs during the time renter or his party occupies the premises. Renter agrees to pay repair costs to bring damaged equipment back to working condition. Renter Agrees to pay for damage to the premises including spills, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, or painted surfaces.
