About the Space

Our basement features a colorful location with multiple rooms great for photo shoots and small scale video/commercial/film shoots. The setting is ideal and suited for musicians who will fall in love with the vintage decor. We also offer a black light room and an area designed for a stylist. Our space will definitely give you the vibes that you are looking for!

Lighting description

It's a basement with 4 windows. Best natural light is from 12-4pm, however we encourage you to bring your own lighting equipment for best results.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

We are situated in a residential neighborhood on a very quiet cul de sac. There is very little to no noise from the neighbors, except possible noise during landscaping services. We have double paned windows. The HVAC is situated in the basement and will make some noise while in use, but can be turned off for low noise if needed.

Equipment loading description

If large amounts of equipment needs to be loaded in we can allow for driveway parking to unload and load equipment off for easier access, but all parking will remain on the street.

Staging area is available

All of the basement rooms are open, however we do have our recording studio room, which has a door and can be used for changing/wardrobe if necessary. We also have an open room available for the shoot and doubles as a hair/make-up styling area for our guests.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Yes, upstairs in the residential house, but it's available for restroom access only as there isn't one in the basement.

Shooting the exterior of the building is not allowed

Electrical system description

There are plenty of electrical outlets available. The circuit breaker if needed is visible in the main room.

General Rules

THIS LOCATION IS A PRIVATE FAMILY RESIDENCE: No smoking indoors. (At least 50 feet away from the house please.) No pets/animals. Nudity allowed (indoors only), but NO PORN please. Furniture and decorations may be moved. Some wall decor can be moved, but check with the host first. Furniture and decorations moved should be returned back to original position. 20 guests maximum Booking space is designated to the basement area as described, however if you fall in love with our spacious outdoor oasis and wish to utilize, it will be an additional $20 per hour. Recording studio equipment is for photography use only. Costs for any damages to this equipment specifically will be the responsibility of the client to fix/ replace. The recording equipment can be removed upon request by the host prior to arrival.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture, decorations and some wall items can be moved, but MUST be returned to original location when the rental time is done.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
