This century old home is in the Boston–Edison Historic District located in the geographic center of the city. It is a half block away from the beautiful Voight Park which is a 7-acre, city park (between Edison and Longfellow Street, between Second and Third Avenue) and is two blocks away from Woodward - the corridor that leads to Midtown and Downtown. The avenue is home to Wayne State University, museums, cutting-edge galleries, laid back brunch spots and more. All of the first floor is available for use with this booking. The basement, 2nd & 3rd floors are unavailable. First floor usage includes: A long country style porch complete with ceiling fan and string lights (seating for six/ two tables) In the foyer, there is a bench - adorned with decorative pillows (seating for four) To the right of the foyer, there is a brunch room that features a boxwood wall, art by a local artist, beautiful crystal lighting, decorative table with four velvet chairs, coffee bar and an oversized, vintage style chair (seating for five) To the left of the foyer, is the living room which includes a large comfy couch with chaise, two velvet chairs, mantle with decor, creative art, sputnik chandelier and wooden chest with eclectic pillows and throws (seating for six) Adjacent to the living room is a traditional dining room featuring vintage wallpaper and original wood paneled walls as well as a Schonbek chandelier. The dining table seats eight and the room includes a serving bar, an antique chair, a seating bench and a record player (seating for 11) To the right of the dining room is a modern kitchen. The kitchen includes a butcher block island with two bar stools, granite countertops, Kitchenaid appliances and midnight blue cabinets (seating for two) The basement, second and third floor are not available for use. Parking is available on the street. In the rear, there are additional 1-3 spots available for hosts.
