About the Space

Welcome to the Black House on Bennett. Located in East Long Beach, this single level duplex is unlike anything you've ever seen. As you approach the main entrance you are welcomed by a waterfall and lush tropical landscaping. Past the main gate you are introduced to a private courtyard featuring a modern water fountain, black bamboo, palm trees, and acapulco chair. You feel transported into a zen tropical oasis. The owner's unit of this Mid-Century duplex has been taken down to the studs and reimagined as a OPEN concept modern design showcasing sun filled floor to ceiling windows and period specific furniture with a minimalist aesthetic. The kitchen features an island (13 ft) with two waterfall edges and modern light fixture centered above. Ample counterspace for food preparation and display. Stainless steel GE appliances and custom cabinets. The living room features La Cantina bi-folding doors blending the indoor and outdoor living spaces. Step out to the private deck (300 sqft) with outdoor lounge and tropical garden. If you're looking for a unique property with versatile accommodations you won't be disappointed.

Daniel was extremely attentive to make sure our group had a great experience. He was so responsive and kind, and the space was exactly as pictured, so clean and organized, and conveniently located. Highly recommend this location!

This space was an absolute vibe. The Host always responded within an hour or faster. The pictures already make this space look amazing but physicking being there makes you feel like you are on a little getaway. Having my baby shower there I didn’t even need decorations. My guest all had pockets of space where they were comfortable but also all included. We enjoyed the space so much we decided to extend our time just to enjoy the energy for a little longer. From the moment you approach the house to the back yard, this home was just an absolute jaw dropper. All my guest complimented the space. Thank you!
