About the Space

A multipurpose micro venue in the heart of downtown Port Townsend! This charming space boasts crisp white walls, warm hardwood floors, black and gold hardware, and thoughtful touches throughout. Perfect for parties, workshops, classes, and more! Our kitchen area is complete with sink, fridge, dishwasher, and all of the serviceware and tabletop decor one could possibly need or want! Non-Profit and Arts Organizations are eligible for a discounted hourly rate. Please inquire.

Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
  • Hand Sanitizer

Yes, I would book again.

We hosted a gathering of about 25 people here last night. 821 Washington is a lovely space with all the amenities. Alexis is a joy to work with: very responsive and proactive. She has thought of everything, and she does the "heavy lifting" on bringing out the tables and chairs you need. It's a clean, modern, simple aesthetic (I mean simple in a good way). Thanks Alexis!

Yes, I would book again.

The space was beautiful, clean, and set up exactly as requested! I appreciated the amenities provided, bottled water, snacks, hand sanitizer and pens. That was a very appreciated nice touch! The only feedback I have is that the space is a bit noisy (the door to the frame shop squeaks loudly every time it was opened & they were busy this day!) Thank you so much! We will definitely use the space again.

This is the perfect spot! There is a bathroom with an automatic noise machine when you walk in, kitchen, cold case with complimentary drinks and snacks and the cutest table and chairs. We will be back!

Olympic Pride rented this space for Queer Expression Youth Art Show. The venue is so beautiful I feel like we could have skipped decorating! The new art hangers made it so we could hang the youth art on both walls which was awesome. The space was perfect for our two part event. The first was for youth and they had a blast on the collaborative painting and also making miniature food with sculpy. The second part was open to public and was a super successful event. There was a dance performance and lots of tasty snack. This space was able to accommodate all our needs. Thanks Alexis for create this amazing venue!

Yes, I would book again.

The space is PERFECT! Alexis goes ABOVE & BEYOND when it comes to decorating the space. I used it for a wine tasting event, and we plan on doing them monthly now. The space is a great location, and she has really thought of EVERYTHING. Entrance was easy, clean up was explained thoroughly. My clients LOVED the event and the space. THANK YOU!!!!! Yes, I would book again.

We so appreciate the accommodations at 821 Washington! The ease of getting the key code, to posters on the window, and even the hot water maker for the hot cocoa bar. Being able to have the area already decorated in holiday cheer was magical! The cleaning supplies were super easy to find and convenient; also really value the communication and help through the process of planning and booking! The venue was so fitting for the RainShadow Youth Collective's Snowflake Slime Party! Thank you so much Alexis!

Yes, I would book again.

Alexis was so easy and kind to work with. She went the extra mile making sure I had everything I needed for my event and more. The location was perfect too with other community events that were happening in the area. Great clean space and gracious host. I will be back to book another event at 821 Washington.
