About the Space
Located in the heart of Burnaby, The Garden is a creative oasis that feels like home. Featuring windows lined with books and plants at every corner, the Garden provides a very warm and comfortable place to shoot, edit and record. Built as a workspace/set for podcasting production. The garden doubles as a 360 set which provides a unique background anywhere you choose to sit. You can host everything from meetings, listening sessions to intimate events and creative sessions. We are open and inclusive to all ideas and people! If you wish to book beyond the times shown, feel free to shoot us a message for a custom booking. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

It was nice! They gave me a response quickly. We had a Halloween party with thirteen people, and there were enough seats. If there were a big table ( I didn’t find a red low table on the picture), it would be perfect. However, I’m really satisfied with the rental room. Reasonable price was also good.

We had a productive recording session in this space. While the ambiance was generally good, it wasn't as soundproof as expected, with noticeable traffic noise from the nearby intersection. The space could be ideal for other creative activities (songwriting sessions or meetings), but it's less suited for recording due to the noise levels.

Conversations started off great. I told the person in charge that I wanted to book somewhere private for a little karaoke get together for my husband and I's first anniversary. I booked like a month in advance. Keep in mind that Karaoke was mentioned from the jump. Now, the night of the party we arrive to the venue, first impression, tbh, was a bit sketchy. We spent half of the first hour looking for the karaoke equipment and trying to set up the audio. Thank goodness the manager or whatever was emailing back and forth, answering my questions; which was when he told me they "didn't have a karaoke setup" at the moment and the people renting usually take their own. I was mind blown 🤯 like that was the whole reason I rented the space. Lol I could've had the party in my own home if that was the case. And it specifically said they had a mic/speaker set up on the ad, FOR KARAOKE!! 🤦♀️ So, to sum it up, I wish the manager paid more attention to detail and was more honest from the beginning. The pic shown is literally the whole space. The bathroom is outside in the hallway. The night was alright but I don't think I would rent again.
