Rules & Regulations Our Plaace in Portland thrives off of our client’s unique décor and event needs and we look forward to seeing what you create! Please help us take care of our space by following these important precautions. Cleaning: The space MUST be cleaned up and returned to the original condition of check in, at the time your rental ends. Alternatively, we offer a clean up add-on to your rental for a $185 fee. If you decide to purchase this, we'll take care of all the cleaning after your event and you do not need to add extra time for it to your rental. Inventory & Items Plants and shelving décor at Our Plaace in Portland will vary in number, style and size throughout the year. Specific items and placement can be rented and arranged. Movement and/or removal of plants and shelving décor at Our Plaace in Portland will be subject to a labor fee. Prohibited Décor Mylar confetti may not be used for decorations or celebrations. The use of unwrapped candy (i.e. jelly beans, mints, M&M’s), bird seed, rice, flower petals, glitter, confetti, dye, permanent markers, smoke or fog machines, pyrotechnics, sky lanterns, fireworks, or sparklers are not allowed. Blowing bubbles is permitted outside only. Stapling or nailing of decorations to the buildings, floor, fences or any other area is prohibited. If decorations are needed to be attached to walls or other surfaces, clients understand to discuss the product most appropriate and acceptable by Our Plaace in Portland prior to decorating. No duct tape, glue, double sided tape, electrical tape or adhesive backed hangers or putty is allowed on any surfaces. Drafting tape or blue painting tape is most desirable for attaching decorations so as to not cause any surface damage. Any product(s) used for decorations that are destructive to the surfaces of any part of the Farm will be assessed and considered to be the responsibility of the clients and deducted from the cleaning/damage fee. Candles If you have candles that you would like to use other than tea lights candles, please speak with Our Plaace in Portland. Hanging Items Pre-installed hang points are not available. We ask that when hanging décor you secure the items by tying or with 3M hooks rather than using nails/tacks/screws or penetrating any beam, wall or surface. Please ask for options on hanging items. Garbage Our Plaace in Portland provides a number of garbage bins and space for glass and mixed paper recycling. You are responsible for taking any overflow garbage or recycling off site that does not fit in these provided containers.  If you anticipate additional garbage or recycling space needs, please let Our Plaace in Portland know and they will arrange for additional receptacles and disposal service that can be billed to your final statement. Your team is responsible for disposing of trash and food waste created during your event. You are responsible for disposing of any items brought for your event you do not wish to take home and your vendors are not responsible for (décor, floral, signs etc...). Dispose trash in receptacles and not in plants/maintenance equipment or anything alike. Property, statues, plants and structures We want our guests to remain safe and have a great experience so please make sure to be aware of the following: ​ Please do not climb on any personal property, event rentals, structures, plants or anything alike for photography or for any reason at all Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited everywhere at Our Plaace in Portland at all times.
