Starting with positives: sets were very unique, and we definitely need more unique spaces around the GTA. The staff were friendly. The negatives, however, make me unlikely to want to book here again. I arrived for my 2-4pm booking 5 minutes before I was supposed to start to find the previous booking was still in the space and running an hour late. Melissa had sent an email asking my to move my time at 11:30am, and I unfortunately missed it as it went to spam. I'm not thrilled with being asked to move times, but there was somewhere to get lunch nearby so I obliged. When I got back at 3 the other people were still clearing out, and there was someone in the green room getting makeup done until 3:30. As I was trying to get started shooting, people were walking by, casting shadows and reflections on set so I had to wait, and a member of staff interrupted again to ask for my instagram while I was in the middle of shooting. Eventually everyone cleared out, but honestly, I paid for 2hrs in this studio to shoot boudoir and I did not get 2hrs of shooting time. I couldn't get into a headspace with half an hour of interruptions and constantly worried about people coming back in. I would recommend avoiding this space if you shoot boudoir or nudes for this reason. I was also told as I was leaving that they usually discuss needs at the start but weren't able due to the delay, so perhaps this was a one off but I also prefer email so I can use my paid time efficiently.
