The venue was more than perfect for the birthday/ business launch dinner! Meg was awesome with communication. We had an issue with a neighbor complaining about noise but Meg was very understanding. We didn’t have any issue with the AC because it rained. We had 75 people there at the Elegant Bungalow in Montrose had more than enough space for people to mix and mingle! The driveway is perfect for dinner. I would use this place again!

We loved our time here! Meg was very kind and great at responding to questions we had. The house was beautiful and made our time absolutely wonderful!
Laurie F. booked an engagement party for 50 people
The house was a lovely venue for an engagement party for about 40 people. The decor is beautiful. The hosts are very responsive. The only issue is the heat during hot Houston summer. All the guests were dripping sweat as the A/C couldn't keep up. Other than that it was perfect for our needs.
Jennifer R. booked a wedding shower for 50 people
Meg's space was perfect for our wedding shower! As it was the heat of summer in August, we were able to use the shaded the front porch space and yard for outside activities and photo opportunity spaces for the event. We also brought a couple fans (1 inside and 1 outside) to help with air flow and the temperature felt perfect! There was plenty of room for the guest to mingle inside and out. We had about 50 guests in total and never seemed too cramped. There was an even amount of people sitting and standing to mingle which turned out perfect. Meg was also helpful with letting me see the space beforehand and answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend this space if looking for a space for any type of shower.
Kathleen F. booked an event for 75 people
The space is insanely gorgeous and we received many compliments during our baby shower. However, I wish I would have seen the recent reviews that mention the issue with air conditioning that way I would have been prepared. When we arrived, the house was warm to begin with and it only managed to get worse throughout the duration of the event. I saw another review that suggested a window unit (or two) and I have to agree… it would have made all the difference. At some point, the sprinklers turned on and it soaked presents, personal belongings (one of which was a guest’s cellphone), and rented items (such as bounce house and furniture). Luckily, our food vendor had packed up right before or else they would have gotten soaked too! Meg was great and managed to answer any questions we had. I just don’t think I’d rent this space again unless it was during the winter months or they fixed the issue with the AC.

Beautiful home. The decor is absolutely stunning. Immaculate. Unfortunately, the beauty of the home is overshadowed by the poor AC situation. OMG. The dog days of summer have been intense in Houston. To have a poorly operating AC unit, especially in the summer, is not ideal. Honestly, I wouldn't book again unless the system was updated OR window units were installed. It's really unfortunate because the home really is gorgeous. It felt like a hot, sweaty box. It's almost as if the AC doesn't work. To add, we had seasoned adults present at the event and it made it even more uncomfortable. I really wanted to share a better review. I can't recommend this spot. I hope things will change for the better in the near future.

Such a beautiful house! The decor is great and lighting is good inside and outside the house. I liked the open floor plan and that there’s a lot of seats available. My guests were so impressed at how cute the place is. The host was also nice and I overall had a great experience!
Alexandria H. booked a baby shower for 30 people
Cute little house with a lot of small creative details. We used the space for a baby shower which turned out to be very beautiful. The host was accommodating providing extra chairs and let us tour the space before setting up. We did have about 25 people inside causing the house to become very hot . We were offered a fan but it didn’t help much. This is the perfect space for a small gathering but I wouldn’t recommend it for a large party in the houston heat.
Thank you, we're on it!
