About the Space

This is a renovated mid century auto shop, with two bays, a corner lounge space, a bathroom with a shower and a 10 car fenced and gated parking lot . The Bays when empty can accommodate art shows , parties, pop up events, these events can easily spread out into the parking area with parking instead nearby . The bays lit with beautiful soft daylight can accommodate a still shoot, film shoot ,the corner office space is a comfortable lounge /work /office area. Located on the edge of downtown Long Beach close to restaurants , museums, walking distance to the beach .

Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Yes, I would book again.

The Shop is an absolute dream! Great open space that included an indoor and outdoor with great lighting. Gilbert was truly accommodating with everything and even helped with setting up. He also helped us with recommendations for vendors. He was easily accessible for communication through messages and texting. Will definitely use this venue again!

Gilbert was amazingly flexible for my party of 50+ and helped me a lot on making sure my party was stress free. We turned his place to a disco/retro vibe and his place did the rest of the magic 🪩🪄 all my guest were obsessed with this venue. One of a kind. Definitely will book him again.
