Desert Dive Bar Near Joshua Tree National Park

Desert dive bar in the original A&W Root Beer stand from the 1960s located at the corner of Highway 62 and National Park Blvd at the north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. It's updated to include all kinds of desert ephemera including a massive mural celebrating Gram Parson's legacy. We are located in between two boutique hotels—with one directly across the street—allowing for ample accommodation for film crews or large parties. The bar capacity for private parties is approximately 250 people with both indoor and outdoor seating on the patio. A number of wedding locations are nearby including the tranquil 29 Palms Inn and Rasta Rita Cantina making the bar perfect for large parties wanting to escape. The location ensures privacy for film shoots, photo shoots and private events of all kinds.
