About the Space
Ironweed is an intimate event space located at the historic Whiskey Point intersection in Chicago's Belmont Cragin neighborhood that is ready to make any gathering come to life! Back in 2019, we were on the hunt for a small-scale, affordable, unique DIY wedding venue in Chicago. From this search, we came up with the idea of Ironweed to provide a high-quality, adaptable space for your special event. This unique studio loft has 23 vintage theater seats, sound-treated theater curtains, exposed brick, 11-foot ceilings, a remodeled single-use bathroom, kitchenette, and a peaceful, private patio and native garden that transforms with the seasons. It's an urban oasis that can be rearranged into endless possibilities: host family parties, music performances/rehearsals, live recording sessions, film screenings, yoga/meditation classes, dinner parties, art events, photo shoots, community meetings, seasonal/holiday celebrations, or small weddings. - Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The space was perfect! Super clean and very professional. There are blackout curtains to help brighten the screen and a legit sound board. Double coat closets to keep personal items out of the way. The entrance was great for signage/decorations and with the curtains closed, a perfect way to throw a surprise party! The kitchen had every thing we needed with plenty of trash cans/recycling. Jess was super easy to work with a great host. I would absolutely book this space again.

Listen…..this place is top tier. I booked this to host a private movie screening and from start to the finish my experience was excellent. Within minutes, Jess responded to my questions. She had someone on-site that had my movie ready to go. I literally cried at how things came together. Please book this space.:..it will leave a WOW Factor

Great space! We used the space for my father’s memorial and it was perfect. The projector screen and audio setup was easy and they were very helpful! Clean throughout and great lighting. Parking can be a hassle for a larger crowd but overall we didn’t have an issue.
