The Solarium at 55 Second Street

We are an open- coworking space during the day and a beautiful rental event space after 6 PM. Constructed in the early 1900’s, the adjacent connected two-storey atrium building is a historic public space that gets its name from the natural sunlight flowing in through grand arched windows and three large rectangular skylights. Beautifully furnished with flora, tables with seating, and lively contemporary finishes. Windows at the solarium are original wood-framed and the floors are both polished hardwood and unfinished concrete. The solarium south wall consists of painted brick and the north wall is concrete. The Solarium is also available for private parties, after 6pm during the week and all-day Saturday and Sunday. It has been host to wedding, banquets, speaking engagements, large gatherings and many other private events.
