About the Space
This 1859 historic Victorian mansion is the perfect venue for intimate gatherings. The spiral staircase, hand-carved mantels, original crystal chandeliers, and garden courtyard serve as elegant backdrops for memorable photos. Seated space for 50 and standing room for 100, is ideal for informal meetings or celebrations of any kind. The mansion is adjacent to the stunning First and Franklin Presbyterian church, so consider this venue for rehearsal dinners or baptism celebrations with those you hold most dear.

I recently rented this peer space to host a birthday party with approximately 30 people. I sought out this venue because I invited my loved ones to dress up/cosplay according to an "Ethereal Bodies" theme and this place lived up to it! It is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. It was extremely spacious, everywhere you looked was ornate, and the contact person assigned to assist us was attentive and provided us wonderful history of the space (thanks Mike!). I brought in catering and it was nice to have an area to prepare the food in and keep things chilled. They provided tables/chairs and had some extra linens available to help bring together the space. Parking in Baltimore City can be challenging but I truly appreciated that there was plenty of parking, specifically with a designated parking lot around the corner next to the venue. Since I rented this place in the height of summer it was noticeably warm in the venue, but that is to be expected with such a historic building. They provided two AC units to help with that. Overall, this place provided some magic for my birthday that I am happy to remember.

I organized a Gilded Age themed birthday event here and worked with the wonderful Dave, who is very communicative and professional. The space is just breathtaking, with its beautiful architecture and oil paintings. It was EVERYTHING I was looking for for my event. My guests all raved about the interior space, and the exterior, which sports a gorgeously serene courtyard. Dave was an excellent host, offering support where he could, and working with me my vendors to ensure we could get setup. There is also limited on-site off-street parking lot!! So some of my guests didn't have to pay to park. This space offered EVERYTHING I was looking for and more. Iould completely recommend and book this beautiful space again.
