About the Space

Photography and Video rental studio in the heart of Clerkenwell, Central London, EC1. With a mid century vibe, concrete floors and work surfaces, walnut sliding doors, raw plaster finish walls. Broncolor & Arri equipment packages at competitive rates. Perfect for lifestyle fashion shoots, portraits, food photography, still life, PR events, launches, interviews and small film productions. Our two studios are combined to make a larger space (192 Sqm) Space.. Studios 1 & 2 can be booked separately see our other listings.

Lighting description

Crittal wharehouse windows with luxaflex honeycomb black out blinds with only a tiny crack of light round the edges.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The studio isn't sound proof but is often used for sound shoots. It is set back from the road that has relatively little traffic and if daylight inn't needed the honeycomb blinds block out most of the ambient sound.

Equipment loading description

Roberts Place is a small dead end street so although its a double yellow line it's easy for offloading. The studio is accessed through double doors on the street, up two flights of wide staircase to the first floor where double doors access the studio.

All rooms are available for shooting

Shooting the exterior of the building is not allowed

Electrical system description

4 32 Amp sockets by arrangement and electricity will be billed. The circuit board is above the exit door in studio 2.

General Rules

No Smoking in the building or on the fire escape 9pm hard out Do not hang out on the fire escape Please leave regular rubbish in bags provided. Separate rubbish and recycling. All production props, sets etc must be removed.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is required

Standard shoot insurance and public liability

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Security cameras and recording devices

Two Wifi security cameras, one in each studio space turned off when in use.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures

The studio is always cleaned thoroughly after every use

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
