About the Space

Thank you for checking out our space! We have a 15x21 foot photography and video studio for rent here in a little quiet neighborhood of north Hollywood. The space offers bright open windows for lots of natural light, and heavy curtains to control the available light if you wish. The space is heated and air conditioned as well! While simple, our space makes things very easy for you to load in and out with a list of stands, lights, diffusers and more for your use. Three 10 foot wide backdrops are mounted for use, and you’re welcome to bring your own or set up your own stands if you like! We also have a common area outside for those that wish to eat or smoke while working, and access to restrooms in the house. We are three creatives that live here and live the idea of offering space for others to further their productions!

Since the house is residential, we usually have space for three cars in the driveway, or free for all street parking in our neighborhood!

Lighting description

The space was a sunroom before, so we have beautiful natural light coming from all directions, even from the ceiling. But we do have blackout curtains to kill as much light is possible when shooting at any time of the day. Mid-day is definably very bright if you're going for natural portraits or film.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Very quiet room with a very chill neighborhood. Usually we don't hear much other then a helicopter now and then, but other then that we are a quiet house and it should make sound not too bad for most crews.

Kinda! We have a lounge area outside of the main room if you want to eat, mingle, or have a smoke.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Currently the house isn't assessable other then for the rest room. In time we have a room we would love to convert into a green room!

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

Just the usual household 120 volts. No access to 220 or for larger lighting systems.

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

Smoking is allowed on the patio outside. Food and drink is allowed out there, but please try and limit both inside of the studio. Because of the space, try and limit crew members to six and under. We don’t charge a cleaning fee currently, but please be respectful and do your best to return the space to how you found it.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

We just started, but we have a handful of chairs, stands, and a few small things that can be used for your production if need be. We don't have any decorations or anything in the sunroom, but if you need to put something up we can talk!

Health and Safety Measures

After every client we wipe down all high contact surfaces, and have wipes, masks and sanitizer available.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:
