About the Space

Beautiful home located in the heart of Bixby Knolls, one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Long Beach. Lots of shops, parks and restaurants located nearby from a short walking distance. The home is newly renovated, with lots of vibrant colors and decor, indoor foliage plants & bright natural light. The home is a mix of mid century modern and cozy bohemian vibes when it comes to interior design. The home is perfect for hosting meetings, get togethers, parties & video/photo shoots. No matter what the season may be this home is perfect for really any event you have in mind. The booking includes the usage of the living room, dining room, kitchen, guest bathroom, pool, and shaded backyard patio. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions! Propane patio heaters, fire pits, grill, black bar stools and black bar tables (as pictured) will be an add on cost. Also please note we do not offer pool heating services, if you plan on using the pool the best time to book would be in the summer when the pool is warm enough to enjoy!

Lighting description

Lots of windows throughout the space, sliding glass window doors in the dining room have the brightest light. Depending on the season peak light time is around noon. We have very sheer curtains so black out is not an option, this space is great if you’re looking for bright natural light, we have lots of green house plants that thrive in our environment. Please message us should you have further questions.

We are very close to the LB airport so you will hear planes flying over head. The street is extremely quiet, except for the occasional gardening services on neighboring properties or construction, other than that it’s very quiet.

Best loading space would be through the alley way garage there are no stairs here and it’s a flat surface, since the front of the property has 4 brick stairs to get on the property.

Electrical system description

120 volts, 4 outlets in living room, 2 in dining room, 1 in bathroom, 2 in office, 4 in kitchen. Circuit breaker is outside of the laundry room back door.

General Rules

No smoking, no loud noise/music. Outside catering is allowed. Pets allowed outside only but must be trained. Maximum amount of guests allowed is 40 people. Coolers/ice chests must be set up in the backyard and remain there. Fireplace in the living room cannot be accessed. We allow 2 large bags of trash to be left on the property for us to pick up after your booking (we will provide the bags for you). Any overflow trash/boxes/bottles/alcohol beyond the two bag rule will have to be taken home with you, please ensure to leave our property in the clean condition you received it in upon arriving for your booking, all set up and clean up must be completed by the guest within your booking time so make sure to account for this in your booking.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

All high contact points will be throughly disinfected (full bathroom cleaning, kitchen appliances, door handles, counter tops, table surfaces).

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Theresa was a lovely venue host for our daughter’s first birthday party. She was very communicative before, during and after the event. The space was just like the photos. We were able to put up a backdrop and balloons by the pool area for some great photos. There was plenty of space for clusters of people to feel comfortable. I would book with Theresa again.
