About the Space

A brand new photo studio located in Downtown Bayonne, New Jersey. On-site studio manager will help your production come to life. Ideal for product photography, e-commerce, and/or portraits on seamless. Use this as a production studio for photography or video shoots. * 900 sq ft of space and 12' ceilings throughout. 16' W x 8' H Window east facing with sheer curtains, and blackouts. Ground floor allows for easy load in (one step from curb). Comfort amenities: Client area with leather sofa, facing a large open set. Plenty of chargers. Private bathroom. Air Purifier. Apple HomePod mini speaker. Mini Fridge with Bottled Water, Canned Seltzer, a Coffee / Espresso machine, and assorted Snacks. We're across the street from a sushi restaurant for easy lunch catering. Production Equipment & Grip Included: 4 x Kupo 40" Column Stands w/ 2 arms 6 x Kupo 20" Column Stands 2 x Runway Rolling Stands w/ 20" Column 4 x 9' Manfrotto Folding Stands 3 x 12'. Manfrotto Folding Stands 4 x Full Size Apple Boxes Includes 1 free light of choice: Profoto D2 500W Strobe Monolight or Nanlite Forza 300B Bi-Color LED Constant Video Light. Make your selection in the add-ons. Additional Professional Lighting equipment is available to rent separately. Profoto Strobes + Modifiers and/or Nanlite LEDs. Seamless available in a variety of sizes: 107" Black, White 86" Black, White, Grey, Red 53" Black, White, Grey, Red, Green, Blue 26" Black, White, Grey Hanging Background use included. A 'pull fee' will be assessed for surface wear (walking). Recommended production day time of 8am-6pm. Any shoots outside of the 7a-7pm window will have strict noise limitations. *Video without audio is also welcome. We're on a busy street, and have neighbors so cannot guarantee sound quality. Accessible via Public Transit. NYC creatives may take the PATH train to NJ and transfer to the Hudson-Bergen Light-rail. Parking Permits may be requested for one vehicle.

Parking description

We're on Broadway, which has metered street parking for loading in. For parking on side streets for one vehicle, you may request a guest permit for side streets 24 hours prior to shoot. Must provide the following info: Year, Make, Model, Color, License State & Plate Number. There is a fee of $10/permit but may be used for several days in a row for longer productions. Additional parking is available in municipal lots nearby. There is a "free" parking lot across the street for a former store, but park there at own risk.

Lighting description

The main space has a large window bay that's 16' wide x 8' high. Its equipped with sheer and blackout curtains for you to control the light levels.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Video shoots are welcome, but audio is not ideal. Best for product video or video with no sound. We're on a busy street and there's construction nearby. Plus we have upstairs neighbors.

Equipment loading description

We're on the ground floor with double doors for load in. Note there is one step from the curb to access the space. heavy carts will require a small ramp.

Electrical system description

This space has residential power. Unsure of rating. There are outlets all around the space. At least 6 (pairs) unused. The circuit breaker is in the storage space behind the curtains. If need to be reset, please notify the onsite studio manager.

General Rules

• Studio Manager onsite at all times. • No Smoking • Ambient noise only after 7pm A COI is not required but recommended, especially if renting equipment. Otherwise you're liable for any damages.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

The couch and tables can be moved. The 5X5 grid shelving may not. Nothing may be removed from the building.

No smoke machines allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

We have security cameras at the entrance, and in the main studio. Studio cameras will be recording for liability purposes. They are located on the north and south sides of the studio for coverage.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Space is swept regularly. Doorhandles disinfected. Bathroom is cleaned with disinfectant. An air purifier that destroys VOCs and airborne viruses runs 24/7

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Yes, I would book again.

I had an outstanding experience at Aleksey's place. He's super responsive, the space appeared exactly as advertised. I am a photographer and I booked Leksey's place to shoot a birthday portrait shoot. I was able to buy an all in one package that included all the essentials I needed to pull off this shoot (flashes, lights, stands, backdrops, modifiers, you name it), and Leksey was even there to give an helping hand. Place is nice and clean, easy access, and feng shui would make any creative feel at their best. I will be booking again, without a doubt. Thank you Leksey!
