About the Space
We are approximately one hour from NYC in Monroe, NY. Our 1960’s mid century modern style house is located in a quiet neighborhood. In time we will be updating the front and backyard with outdoor living space and layers of privacy through plants and trees. Our living area is full of light due to its many windows. The bathrooms are original but the kitchen has been updated with high end appliances and luxury German Poggenpohl cabinets. The stone fireplace is enormous and divides the kitchen and living room. The entry, kitchen, and secondary bedroom have original blue stone floors. The original bookshelf and storage wall divides the bedroom spaces from the living area. Lighting description
Original windows. There is one curtain in the primary bedroom. For privacy, the bedroom windows have window clings that can easily be removed and replaced as needed. It seems like a crime to hang curtains on these special windows so I haven’t.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
You can hear neighbors occasionally but overall it’s a very quiet neighborhood. Our neighbors are awesome and would totally help out the crew by being extra quiet during production. There is a fire alarm for the volunteer fire dept a few miles away that can be heard when it is rang. Some days we go days without hearing it and some days we hear it a couple times. Our street isn’t very busy but there is a school bus that comes by in the late afternoon. The AC has whisper mode but it can also be turned off.

There is a front door, a door from the carport, a sliding door to the back yard and a sliding door into the primary bedroom.

Electrical system description
There are outlets in every room and hallway. They are located just off the floor in the living room. One under the tv and two at the base of the built in bookcase. All other outlets are in predictable locations. The circuit breaker is in the office/laundry room.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Our home is cleaned from top to bottom and all high touch areas are disinfected. We use microfiber cloths to sanitize all other hard surfaces.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Disposable gloves
