About the Space

At The Ware Studio we offer two spaces. The Showroom and The Pent. If you would like to hire both spaces, please book the following. The Ware is a creative playground for inventive, versatile, blank spaces, photoshoots, workshops and intimate gatherings. It's a naturally lit space with two large industrial windows, white walls, concrete floor and roller door access. The space can be provided as a blank canvas or come furnished/styled if required. Great for shoots, workshops, seminars and events for up to 30 people, retail pop ups and auctions

NOISE AND NEIGHBOURS Within The Ware there are 9 tenanted suites. Please be aware and respectful of this by keeping noise to a minimum. To ensure the mood is in keeping with The Ware standard, we kindly ask that you do not play your own music. We play our house music through speakers and keep it at a reasonable volume at all time. 1. OPENING HOURS Our space will be open from 9am however, if early access has been arranged, you can access via the rear roller door using the keypad - code will be provided 24 hrs prior to your shoot. We have lights at the front and in the kitchen. Enjoy the space, take care of our wares and please return any relocated props to their home. 3. PROPS + HIRE Ahead of your booking, please advise if you require use of any props or equipment outlined in our earlier email. The hire of ALL items, whether complimentary or paid, is to be confirmed by The Ware staff prior to using. An invoice for any hired items that are not included in your booking will be issued on the day and payment is due prior to the conclusion of your booking.You do also have the option to hire on the day if there is anything additional you’d like to hire - on the day hire is subject to availability. We have C stands, paper roll, garment racks, extension leads, trestle tables and more. Please enquire within if required. 4. CANCELLATION For cancellation within 24 hrs of your scheduled booking date, 100% of the hire fee is payable. 5. LOCATION We are 10 mins drive from Manly and 5 minutes from Westfield Warringah Mall. You can find our location map 6. FIRE SAFETY The Ware Studio has fire extinguishers on each level to protect you, your crew and our beautiful studios. Any type of flammable material or flames including candles, must be pre-approved prior to your arrival. A callout fee of $2,000 will be charged to your hire if we are not advised and the Dee Why Firemen need to pop in for a visit. 7. CLEANING Please leave all spaces you utilise clean and tidy once finished for the day. Any space left untidy will incur a $90 cleaning fee. All recycling and large rubbish must be taken off site with you. Alternatively, a disposal fee can be added to your invoice. HOW TO USE OUR SPACE An inventive and versatile playground for creative play 8. PARKING One car space will be available in our driveway on Carter Rd. Any other vehicles will need to find street parking. All day parking is available on West St and the parking areas just off Harbord Road, which are located before and after the West St turn off. 9. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, kettle and hot water urn. We also have styling cutlery, glassware and bowls available for hire for styling if required 10.HEALTH Please ensure all members of your crew are healthy on the day of your shoot. If anyone is feeling unwell, please do not come to the studio and seek medical advice. To protect the health and safety of your crew and others on site please, practice good hygiene and practice physical distancing. We have hand sanitiser available for use on site and a QR code on the door, that MUST be used for sign in on arrival by all guests. It will be a condition to wear masks during shoots, workshops or any activity in the communal areas of our space. Thank you for following the correct procedures to keep us all healthy and safe.
