This second floor art studio is airy and playful and has plenty of natural light. Designed as a creative space for children and families, this is an ideal spot for a child-centered photo shoot with classroom space for preschoolers through adults. We have 16 small yellow chairs for young children, 10 wooden stools, and 10 metal art table stools. Two of our three rooms are available in this booking, one classroom has a long standard height wood table with benches, and a child-height rectangular table, great for creative classroom scenes, and the other has a child-size round table, modern armchairs, and areas for creative play. We have carefully selected toys made of mostly natural materials and designed for open-ended play. We have an extensive collection of beautifully illustrated children’s books. We have art supplies along the walls, a refurbished landline telephone in a play office, a light table, and plenty of supplies for imaginative play. Minimalist design maximizes fun! We are steps from the DC line, three blocks from the Takoma Metro, and located on a block with coffee shops, restaurants, book stores, salons, and shopping conveniences.
