HISTORY OF OUR SPACE AND ENTERTAINMENT We believe each event should be unique. Whether your hosting a Wedding Reception, corporate event, birthday party, baby shower, engagement party, celebration of life, holiday party, or other special occasion our signature services provide a stress-free environment designed exclusively for your event. Our venue is located in the heart of Downtown Portland a block North of El Gaucho and the Historic Benson hotel. We are on the second floor of the 1912 Trident building and have been serving Portlanders for over 100 years. We have a tradition of hosting Live Music Events and are well equipped for bands, DJs, Kareoke and other entertainment should you want to add it to your experience. 50th birthday party for my wife and me, 60 people. - The venue is fantastic. - Cedric (owner) is extraordinarily responsive and considerate. - Derrick (our on-site host - you'll want to pay for this 'extra') was incredibly helpful from set-up, throughout the party and wrapping up, and he ran out to the corner in pouring rain to ensure that my wife's elderly parents' uber driver knew where they were waiting. He was awesome. - If you're getting a DJ, we couldn't recommend DJ Jupiter highly enough. He's a true master of the craft.

This was a prefect venue for our engagement party! The space is well thought out with plenty of seating and a large bar to prepare/spread out food for guests. Cedric was a great host who helped us carry our stuff up to the venue and set up our additional staff for us. I would 100% recommend this venue!

The owner Cedric was beyond helpful and accommodating to my family and I, he was compassionate to us in our time of grief and so was our host Derrick who helped us set everything up, work the audio equipment, and clean up afterwards. Derrick also did so much behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly and had a great sense of humor with the guests. Would absolutely book again if I wasn’t moving states soon!! 10/10 recommend.

It was perfect for my husband's 40th birthday party, having everything we needed - a built in bar, sound system, big screen for presentations, and lighting. The only hiccup was in communication. I needed details on what exact tables, chairs, etc. would be there, and it was hard to get answers. I booked Cedric's space for my husband's retirement/birthday party, we had around 55 people. The space is amazing - definitely has a speakeasy vibe and very cozy conversation nooks. I received so many compliments on the space and the host. I highly recommend booking the host - he was incredibly helpful. Cedric is wonderful very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. The location is great, plenty of parking nearby. I highly recommend this space as a venue, I would absolutely book it again! Thank you Cedric!
