About the Space

This is a dual kitchen photo and video studio in the heart of Atwater Village in Los Angeles. It comes equipped with two highly stylized and customizable kitchens that fully function as shooting or prep kitchens. User-friendly amenities like a makeup vanity, open shooting space, modular living/dining room set, customizable backsplashes, voice over booth, and sound-proofing panels and curtains. Each booking comes with a basic grips package, kitchen kit, and minimal propping. Additional prop, cookware, and gear rentals available. Two commercial style roll up garage doors make loading and unloading simple. Two designated parking spots, as well as tons of free neighborhood parking make larger sets easy. Located in Atwater Village, just blocks from restaurants like Dune, Proof, Bon Vivant, and Viet Noodle Bar. Only full day bookings considered.

Parking description

Two designated parking spots for the studio, as well as tons of free neighborhood parking on the surrounding streets.

General Rules

No smoking in the building. Production Insurance is required. Creator agrees to maintain a Commercial General Liability or Film Production Insurance policy during the Term of this Agreement with a coverage limit of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such insurance policy shall have personal injury and property damage coverage and shall name SWC as an additional insured, shall be primary and non-contributory, and shall contain a waiver of subrogation. No nudity. Be kind to the neighbors!

Security cameras and recording devices

Security cameras inside the studio record video, but are only utilized in the case of theft or damages. The 4 cameras point down at each of the 4 working quadrants of the space.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Space is cleaned in between each booking, and is often deep cleaned.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
