Free parking in front of the building and along the street.

There are large windows on the north and east facing sides of the building. There are blinds that can be used to reduce the natural light, but no blackout curtains.

No smoking in the building. Outside catering is allowed. Please take excess garbage to the large garbage bin at the back of the building. CLEANING ETIQUETTE: Please clean up after yourself. As a general rule, please put anything you move or use back in its original place. Cleaning supplies are located in the bathroom, under the sink. Use paper towels for messes and spills and the utility sink to clean paintbrushes and accessories. FRIDGE: The fridge is for day use. Therefore, anything left in the refrigerator by the end of the day may be discarded. MOVING FURNITURE: You are welcome to move furniture to meet your space needs, but please move furniture back after your stay. The large table will need two people to move. Please do not drag furniture on the ground. MUSIC: To use the Sonos speaker, go into any music app, like Spotify or Pandora, and select “studio” for the speaker. Make sure you are on the same Wi-Fi network as the Loft. Please be respectful of neighbors when choosing music and volume or if other members are present. PARKING: Aside from the street parking, several spots are in front of the building. Members are also welcome to park in the back of the building in the spots labeled “Employee.” For additional parking, we can use the North City Water District parking lot, just West of us, in the evenings and on weekends. PERFUMES: Please do not wear heavy perfumes. Some people may be allergic or have other adverse reactions to strong smells. SHARED SPACE: While we want to encourage members and guests to engage in conversation, we also want to respect other working members. If other members are present, please keep your volume respectful. You can use the backroom and close the door for privacy to meet with clients or have a meeting. Please schedule these meetings on the calendar board. USE OF CHEMICALS: The Loft is a solvent-free studio. Therefore, no turpentine, mineral spirits, or "stinky" solvents are allowed.
