Nestled on Seattle's Salmon Bay waterfront, this modern home with gorgeous backyard and views is perfect for small ceremonies and celebrations. The upper deck plus lush ground-level patio allow for multiple arrangements and distinct spaces to use throughout your event. Guests will also have access to the interior first floor for use of the gourmet kitchen, guest restroom, entryway, coat closet and gathering space that seamlessly leads to the patio through French doors. The venue is ideal for small weddings, dinner parties, cocktail parties, wine tastings, birthdays, rehearsal dinners and more. The circular garden can be set up for an intimate ceremony overlooking the water, used as an outdoor dining space, or dotted with cocktails tables for mixing and mingling. Adjacent to the patio is a covered area perfect for a bar and DJ or live band setup. The upper deck--with permanent string and outdoor lighting--provides a chic area for a standing cocktail hours or smaller dining parties (up to 12), and guests can move effortlessly indoors and outdoors for extra hangout space. The marble-top kitchen bar serves as a quaint gathering hub, while a secondary marbled counter is a great spot for cocktail mixing, conversation, and more. For catered events, the caterer will have full access to the kitchen, which includes a 6-burner stove top, two ovens, a microwave convection oven, double sink, fridge and freezer. There is also a BBQ on the upper deck guests may use. Glassware, serving ware and cookware is not included as part of the rental, and event hosts/caterers should come fully equipped with their needs. Speakers are hard-wired on both the upper deck and near the patio entrance and can be controlled by Sonos. There is also up-lighting and accent lighting throughout the garden areas, in both the front of the home and in the back of the home. The home is set back from the waterfront, though guests are welcome to walk down to the water and beach area. Note, the terrain is steep and grassy and the sand can be muddy, so it's not ideal for high heels, but make for beautiful photos at low tide with Ballard Locks as the backdrop. Please note, the homeowner has a professional event planning background and prefers to be present on site to help ensure everything goes smoothly and can act as your day-of event coordinator, included in the fee. The host is available to help you with decor set up, directing guests, ushering vendors around, etc., while blending in to the background so you can shine.

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
