Airy and Spacious Downtown Movement Studio / Private Events / Dance / Yoga

Our bright and beautiful dance studio has wood floors, exposed brick and original wood beams, cathedral ceilings, and south-facing windows on three sides. We have easy-slide curtains available to cover all mirrors and create clean white backdrops. The layout is one large rectangular area, about 1000 sq ft in total. There is a one-person curtained dressing room and an ensuite one-person restroom. 30 folding chairs, 6 personal folding tables, and one 2x4 folding table are available. We also offer the use of floor cushions, as well as some yoga and Pilates mats. The built-in lights have a dimmer option. We also have movable clamp lights on two tall poles and two softboxes to create various effects for photo/video shoots and group photos. This space is perfect for dance/yoga/movement/theatre classes, workshops, conferences, private parties, team-building events, figure drawing, black box theatre performances, and more. This space is located on the third floor, accessible by stairs (no elevator), without AC. Bright Star is across the street from the Portland Museum of Art, above the Little Tap House restaurant, near coffee shops, hotels, and more.
