About Dear World

Industrial Loft space converted to contemporary living and photography space. Central Downtown location with city views. The building is 125 years old, exposed brick walls, 12 ft ceilings, 8 ft windows. Chic decor/design, comfortable living, a little over-the-top in some ways, but that's what makes it an experience. The space This is an industrial space that's been converted to a living space & photography studio. The wood floors creak when you walk on them. Paint is peeling on the ceiling, exposed brick walls make for dust and occasional drafts depending on the weather outside. It's hotter during summer but the central A/C helps to cool things down into the 70's. Comfy during winter as the industrial heater warms the space well. Downstairs hosts parties and weddings sometimes. It's just part of the urban community of downtown living. The Loft includes a full Kitchen open to the main Living room and Dining room. Dining table seats 6 comfortably. Living Room sofa accommodates 8. Two additional tables that seat 2 in the living/dining space. There is a photowall located in the center of the loft. A second living space that is also used as a photography studio space seats 4. Where you will also find 3 desks with seats that can be used as work stations. A projection screen that comes down is also located in the seconded living space. Main Bedroom has a platform King bed (see photos) 2nd Bedroom is a private office space that will not be included in the space for guests. Bluetooth accessible speakers accommodate more jovial music when the occasion calls for it. I don’t really have neighbors, so enjoy your sound. WiFi provided. Google Fiber Pink chairs in the second living room also convert to 2 twin beds and bedding is available upon request to accommodate as needed. Parties or events are not allowed unless pre approved. (If you host an unauthorized party or event you risk being excused from the property early without a refund, will forfeit the whole deposit, and I will charge for any/all damage as well as additional cleaning as needed.) Understand that this is my home, not a hotel. I live here and enjoy making art in my own space. It will be clean for guests, and plenty of fresh linens!, but it will not be ‘spotless’. Feel free to enjoy comfortably and don’t leave me a review that you found a ‘hair’ somewhere, or that something was dusty. My Loft is more of an artistic expression. My biggest request is communication on your intentions with the space whether it's hosting guests or using photography equipment. Guest access The only space that is off limits is the private office. Photography equipment can be used on a case by case basis and will need to be pre approved before use. The equipment is very expensive and will need to be replaced if any damage is done. If the equipment is used without permission and/or damaged this will also forfeit the whole deposit. Other things to note Lights are controlled by the Ipad by the front door other than the main light switch that is located next to the long mirror facing the second living space to the left of the ipad and the guest bathroom light is also a switch.

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
