About the Space

Welcome to Mystery Ridge Movie Ranch, where we strive to make filmmaking affordable, accessible, and welcoming to all levels of production. We are an ideal destination for filmmakers, photographers, and content creators. Experience the creative freedom to bring your vision to life with access to our large production office\stage, a multi-set studio, flexible backlot, and full production services. We are located 8 minutes from beautiful downtown Coeur d' Alene, ID, where you'll find quality amenities to compliment your production. Our 40'x40' paintable cyclorama is perfect for car commercials or an epic space opera. A basic grip package is free with the rental of our studios. Additional grip gear is available for rent. We offer atmospheric effects as well. We have rain rigs that will cover a single window or a city block. We can also provide multiple fog / haze effects and wind fans. Professional stunt services are also available upon request. A camera process vehicle and tow dolly are also on site and ready to go. For any additional cast and crew needs, we have forged wonderful working relationships with many local talents on both sides of the lens. Please ask us for recommendations! Wifi is now available in the studio!

Parking description

Parking is beyond the main farmhouse. Can fit 30-40 cars plus the grip truck and a couple motorhomes!

Space does not have natural light

Ambient noise description

Outside noise inside the studios is minimal. This is rural Idaho, so the occasional chainsaw or semi-truck brakes may interrupt exterior shots.

Equipment loading description

All studios have large roll up doors for easy vehicle access.

Staging area is available

We have a production office, a flex space between the restrooms, and a make-up\wardrobe area for cast and crew to stage.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The main farmhouse and the small red barn are not available for filming.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Circuit breaker can be accessed

General Rules

ALL spaces being used by the production must be returned to the condition they were in prior to your use - Trash must be put in the provided receptacles. Any damages to sets or props incurred will be passed on to production. - NO pornography\full nudity - Vaping is preferred. Smoking is ONLY allowed on the tarmac. (Exception will be made for on-screen smoking in a controlled environment.) - NO loud music after 10pm. All productions will be asked to keep all noise to a minimum after 10pm. - NO spray painting is allowed within studios unless specific permission is obtained in advance. Sanding and clean-up of any over spray are required after use of spray paint in studios. If production fails to do so then the cost of fixing the studio will to be added to their studio charges. **We reserve all rights to take and share behind the scenes photo(s) of whatever shoot is happening on our property, for the promotion of our location.

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is required

A CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY INSURANCE listing MRMR additionally insured for a minimum limit of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) on a Comprehensive General Liability Form including Tenants Legal Liability covering its employees, agents, independent producers, contractors, suppliers, equipment and damage to the studio premises must be supplied. SHOULD SAID CERTIFICATE NOT BE PRODUCED, THE CLIENT IS STILL PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER AND HOWSOEVER CAUSED.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Everything is negotiable as long as the furniture or decor in question is put back exactly as it was found.

Smoke machines are allowed

No nudity allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

The main parking area and driveway entry are monitored by four security cameras. All security cameras are exterior only.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures

All interior spaces are cleaned before each booking.

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
