The Client is granted use of the venue for the event, including but not limited to the following activities: Celebrations, Ceremony, Reception, Presentations, Exhibitions, corporate meetings, and trainings.
Any use beyond the scope of this agreement requires written consent from the venue.
Maximum venue capacity is 100 guests seated, 125 guests standing, courtyard capacity is determined on a case-by-case basis.
No pets allowed in the facility or in the courtyard.
Open flames and Candles are prohibited. (birthday candles are an exception)
Guests and Visitors should be mindful of the noise both inside and outside so as to not to disturb the neighboring businesses.
Guests are able to utilize the courtyard during their reservation, however amplified music, loud noises and yelling should be kept to a minimum. (unless hosting an outdoor event) Outdoor furniture should not be moved, and all trash should be picked up and disposed of in their proper receptacles.
Client should ensure that the excess trash be placed in dumpster onsite.
The Client may choose from the venue's preferred catering partners or provide their own caterer.
The Client agrees to coordinate catering details, including menu, setup, and service times, with the chosen catering provider.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises; however, client, guests and visitors waive liability of host, the facility, and its owners and managers for any acts of negligence, gross negligence and/or criminal acts that may or may not occur as a result of the consumption of alcohol.
Client is NOT PERMITTED TO SALE ALCOHOL unless otherwise permitted by the owner.
No alcohol will be served or consumed by guests under the age of 21.
Smoking, vaping and the use of e- cigarettes is not permitted anywhere inside the venue.
Illicit drugs , illicit drug use, and drug paraphernalia are strictly prohibited.
The client, guests and visitors are not allowed to engage in any activity that may be or will be deemed illegal under the City of San Antonio, County of Bexar and the State of Texas.
The venue offers event planning and coordination services upon request for an additional charge.
Details and fees for event planning services will be provided in a separate agreement.
The venue offers the following audiovisual and lighting equipment: 2 HD flat screen televisions, a Bluetooth or AUX speaker and microphone, and a 360-photo booth which are available for rental for an additional fee.
The Client is responsible for proper use and any damage caused to the equipment during the event.
The venue offers event styling, event design and custom decor.
The Client may choose external decorators, subject to venue approval and guidelines.
All decorations must be approved prior. No tape, adhesive or nails allowed on the walls and no existing decor is to be removed from the walls.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the venue harmless from any liability or claims arising from the event.
The venue maintains liability insurance coverage, and the Client is encouraged to obtain event insurance. Event insurance is Recommended but not Required.
For liability and security purposes, there are external security cameras at the front entrance, back entrance and hallway leading to offices. The host or owner may monitor external cameras at any time via a smart phone app. Cameras are not to be tampered with or covered.
The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, licenses, or permissions for the event.
The Client agrees to comply with all local laws, regulations, and venue policies.
Clients are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times. Minors are not to be unattended on the premises without an accompanying adult.
All Clients, guests, and visitors must comply with the Venue Rules stated in this contract. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in additional fees, termination of contract, and or immediate removal without a refund. Client must notify host or owner of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as possible. In addition, any violations that result in property damage can result in the host/owner filing for mediation or lawsuit (depending on the extent of damages) to recover said cost to clean up damages, expenses to repair and replace damage, court fees/cost and attorney fees, and any other remedy afforded by the law.
The lessor of the venue, owner of the venue and owner of the building, and or their insurance companies are not responsible for any accidental, negligent or intentional theft or damage to the renters/lessees, guests/invitees/visitors’ personal items or belongings. Furthermore, the lessor, owner and insurance are absolved of any damages, liability, negligence, gross negligence, or intent for any incidental, accidental, or intentional, or criminal acts that result in bodily harm or injury that may occur inside the venue.
All clients/lessees and guests/invitees/visitors agree that the only legal remedy allowed is mediation or arbitration. The results of the mediation are legally binding, likewise if the method of recovery is arbitration. For any mediation/arbitration, the only jurisdiction to bring mediation/arbitration is the City of San Antonio, State of Texas.
