The Hampton House Professors Daughters House Designed by prominent architect Wade Hampton Pipes in 1912 and was designed for his brother. The main house has all of the period details, original light fixtures from the arts and crafts movement 3332 sq feet 0.26 forested lot including old growth redwood, abutting the Oaks Bottom Nature Reserve. Quiet, distinguished, family neighborhood A hot tub, a fully furnished Mother -in-law suite behind the main house, ample storage space, multiple outdoor seating areas, ample parking, a few blocks from Sellwood neighborhood including restaurants, stores, etc. the previous owners are academics, retired ethics professor and his artist wife. House is filled with original art, lovingly restored with 5 working fireplaces, enclosed back porch, large living room with sunroom, huge formal dining room and a cozy kitchen with lots of sunlight. A total of 2.5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms total as well as multiple office spaces There’s a beautifully landscaped garden including roses and raised beds with herbs and flowers. There’s abundant wild life at the end of the day including bunnies, deer, and birds. It’s the best of city and country life being only 10 minutes away from downtown portland. The current owners are a Psychotherapist from New York City and her long term partner a Photographer. Their previous property in Brooklyn was used for many TV shows and was an Airbnb + property. The owners are experienced with having film productions shot and are easy to work with.

Our cleaning team thoroughly cleans and disinfects all appliances, fixtures, and surfaces to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. In addition to regular cleaning, we also have a system in place for deep cleaning and sanitization. This includes steam cleaning carpets, upholstery, and curtains, as well as sanitizing mattresses and pillows to ensure a fresh and hygienic living space. We understand the importance of cleanliness, especially in the current times, and we strive to provide a clean and healthy environment for our guests. By maintaining a rigorous cleaning routine, we aim to exceed our guests' expectations and provide them with a pleasant and worry-free stay.
Cancellation Policy
Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
