About the Space
Built in 1906 from a design by engineer Edward S. Cobb this building housed equipment to convert high-voltage electricity supplied by the Edison Company to power Los Angeles' Yellow Car Railway system. House power available for events and photo shoots utilizing strobe lights. Photo shoots and events utilizing Tungsten or HMI lighting are asked to supply their own generator or pay an additional charge for house power. Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
