There is no place quite like our amazing space. And your rental supports hundreds of Boston’s working artists through Boston programs and services that provide studio, exhibition, and performance space on our diverse campus, and connects the community to artists and art that transforms. Boston’s Most Iconic Venue Constructed in 1884, the space was created to house a painting: Paul Dominique Philippoteaux’s panoramic depiction of The Battle of Gettysburg. The is on the National Register of Historic Landmarks and features old-world industrial charm with conveniences such as air conditioning, a flexible floor plan, an onsite kitchen, and a built-in, fully electrified, truss structure. Your guests enter our building amid the South End’s vibrant retail district and tree-lined streets filled with historic brownstone houses in one of the largest designated historic neighborhoods in the country. Where Your Vision Comes to Life The space has a historic brick floor, a stunning copper dome, and a skylight that have set the stage for hundreds of Boston’s most innovative events. It is a completely raw venue, and with the help of talented vendors, it has been transformed into everything from a Broadway-style stage at the Huntington Theatre Company Gala to a one-of-a-kind retail pop-up for Nike. The space is a blank canvas for you to express your vision.
