About the Space
Introducing Rae Loft at the bakery building, a new light and bright bohemian inspired event venue with beautifully restored hardwood floors, views to the South, architecturally inspired design, high arched ceiling, and plenty of cozy amenities. The perfect space for an intimate to mid sized gathering, meeting, or celebration. Offering 3,100 square feet including a kitchenette, modest furnishings, second gathering room, green room, sound system, and mobile projector. We’re here to ensure everyone looking for an upscale, turn-key venue in the Portland Metro Area can find a home with us at an accessible and affordable rate. Offering Memberships for those looking for repeat rental opportunities and deep discounts to nonprofit organizations.
Food must come from a commercial kitchen per County and State Public Health Guidelines. Preferred Vendors are available upon request. No outside alcohol unless approved in writing by Rae Loft Management.

- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

We had our wedding at this venue, and the space itself was absolutely stunning. The ambiance, layout, and overall atmosphere were perfect for our special day, and we received numerous compliments on how beautiful everything looked. The venue itself truly has a lot of potential, and we were excited to host our big day there. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the staff and some communication issues. While the venue itself was incredible, the staff was less than accommodating. Throughout the process, there seemed to be a significant disconnect between what was outlined in our cleaning contract and what the staff expected from us. This led to some tension and confusion, particularly towards the end of the event. The cleaning crew was following the cleaning contract, but the staff kept stating to stop cleaning and that she would handle it yet we received an email stating we didn’t do the cleaning process correctly. The most frustrating issue arose after the wedding when we were charged $235 due to scuff marks left on the floors from dragging and stacking chairs. While we understand the importance of maintaining the venue, this charge could have been easily avoided if the staff had allowed us to follow the cleaning instructions as per the contract. Unfortunately, it felt like we weren’t given the proper guidance, and the communication about expectations was unclear. In the end, the venue itself is amazing, but we were left with a sour taste due to the poor staff interactions and lack of clarity regarding the contract terms. If you’re considering this venue, I’d recommend being extra cautious about the cleaning expectations and ensuring that everyone is on the same page ahead of time. I received A LOT of texts complaining about how rude her staff was. Emily did do a great job with the cleaning contract and everything was perfectly written, it just needed to be communicated to her staff clearly. We would book again just because the venue itself was great and we didn’t have any issues with Emily and would love to continue to support her small business.

Emily’s space was absolutely fantastic and exactly as described. There is a copious amount of natural light, which was a dream for shooting photos in. We will definitely be booking her spot again!
