It is important that there be clear guidelines as to the proper use of the space and appropriate behavior during such use, as it is also a regular church home, in weekly use. All renters must adhere to the following use of space and general rules: USE OF SPACE. - Only authorized event staff members, or persons designated, shall operate thermostats and audio-visual equipment. Included Furnishings: - Furnishings are not to be moved or removed without prior approval and the presence of the supervising facility administrator. - All furnishings moved must be put back in the original location as soon as the function is finished. - The replacing and cleaning of furnishings is the responsibility of the person renting the facility unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. - The renter must ensure that the location is properly secured before leaving and the space must always be locked or attended. Decor/Decorations: - Please work with your space administrator to achieve the event layout your desire if requiring included furnishings. - Existing furniture can be moved only with the facility administrator's permission. - Furniture may be removed and stored for an additional fee. - All securing devices must be pre-approved by the space administrator - Lit candles may not be carried by anyone during the function. - No open flames are permitted. - The renters are responsible for removing any decorations used. - Non-damaging removable adhesive strips are the only means allowed for decorations on walls. - No glitter or confetti is to be used. A fee of $100 will be added if any of these items are used. These restrictions apply to the entire facility and garden. Parking: - Renter agrees to provide a parking solution for their event guests that does not interfere with private neighborhood street parking on the space's main street, such as valet or hiring a private lot. - Renters agree to be mindful and respectful of neighbors as the space is located in a residential area. Sound: - Amplified sound restriction after 9 PM outside; 10 PM inside. DJ or live music is only allowed inside. The renter is responsible for any damage that occurs during their occupancy. GENERAL RULES. All persons should exhibit proper conduct at all times while on premises. - No running inside the facility. - The use of illegal drugs is prohibited on the property and in the facility. - Smoking and all other tobacco/marijuana use INCLUDING VAPING is prohibited inside the facility. - In the case of damage or destruction of property, replacement or restoration will be required as director by the Owner. - At least one space staff member or person authorized by the pastoral staff, or supervising administrator must be present throughout the rental time the space is in use. - No equipment or property of the space may be borrowed for use without prior approval by the space administrator. This includes all janitorial, tech supplies, audio-visual equipment, ladders, etc. - Service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are allowed if the animal’s handler maintains control of the animal, the animal is housebroken, and the handler can show proof of certification. Deposit Required. Renters will be charged 1.5x the normal booking rate for each additional hour they are in the space over their booking time. Security:The space has outdoor security cameras for security purposes.
