New Jazz Club, Restaurant, Bar, Event Space in Bushwick, BK

Umbra is a 2,000 sq/ft music venue, bar, restaurant, and event space in the heart of Bushwick. We have a gorgeous, 30-foot-long bar with a custom striated, black & white quartz top. The frame is wrapped in black fur, creating a surreal, Art-Deco inspired experience. There is seating for 15 at the bar, in comfy, green velvet bar stools. Custom, hand-blown purple saucer-shaped pendant light fixtures hang suspended above the bar. The bar is fully stocked, including four draft lines, a beer & wine list, and custom cocktails. The second half of the bar is a commercial kitchen, which is open format and allows the public to interact with the chef. Our main dining room area has seating for up to 35-40, 12 black tables in varying sizes, green velvet chairs, and two custom green velvet upholstered booths/banquettes. The main dining room also features two performance stages with matching art-deco designed rugs, and an extensive backline for live music. This includes a vintage 1960s Ludwig drum kit, a vintage 1965 Fender Super Reverb guitar amp, along with bass amp, two more tube guitar amps, congas, a Nord Stage 2 keyboard, stands, and an extensive inventory of microphones and cables. To top it all off, the venue has a Meyer Sound System! There is an upstairs lounge/mezzanine that looks down over the dining room/performance area. This has two couches, and plenty of high top tables and chairs that can seat up to 20. This makes for a great private event/VIP area and feels intimate, sexy, and exclusive. The front of the space is malleable, and currently features a music shop with guitars and instruments hanging on the walls but can be changed to accommodate a variety of purposes.
