Indoor spaces include a grand living room, formal dining area, and a gourmet kitchen equipped for catering. For events, we provide tables and chairs that can be arranged to suit your needs. Public transportation options are limited due to the estate’s secluded location, so we recommend arranging private transport, which can be coordinated through our optional Mercedes-Benz shuttle service, accommodating up to 12 passengers. General Rules

House Rules for the Escondido Estate 1. Booking and Access • All bookings must include setup and teardown time. • Only guests included in the booking are allowed on the property. • Access is limited to the areas specified in your booking; unauthorized access to non-booked areas is prohibited. 2. Noise and Events • Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Amplified sound is not permitted outdoors after 10 PM. • All events must end by 11 PM unless prior arrangements have been made. • Respect the neighbors: Please keep noise levels moderate at all times. 3. Parking and Transportation • On-site parking is limited to 20 vehicles. Additional parking is available on nearby streets. • The estate offers a private shuttle service for larger groups; please coordinate in advance if needed. • Guests are responsible for arranging any additional transportation required. 4. Smoking and Alcohol • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. Designated smoking areas are provided outdoors. • Alcohol consumption is allowed, but guests must drink responsibly. No underage drinking is permitted. • Please ensure all alcohol-related waste is disposed of properly. 5. Decorations and Setup • No nails, screws, or permanent adhesives are allowed when decorating. • All decorations must be removed by the end of your booking. • If renting furniture or equipment, delivery and pickup must occur during your booking window. 6. Cleaning and Maintenance • Guests are expected to leave the space in the condition they found it. • A cleaning fee will be charged, but excessive cleaning or damages may result in additional fees. • Trash and recycling must be disposed of in the designated bins. 7. Pets • Pets are not allowed unless prior approval has been granted. • Approved pets must be supervised and remain in designated areas. 8. Security and Safety • The estate is equipped with security cameras for your safety; tampering with them is prohibited. • Fireworks, firearms, and hazardous materials are not allowed on the property. • Guests must adhere to all safety protocols, including pool rules. 9. Insurance and Liability • Event insurance may be required for large gatherings. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to the event. • The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal items during the booking. 10. Cancellations and Changes • Cancellations must be made according to the booking platform’s policy. • Any changes to the booking must be approved by the host and may be subject to additional fees.

General Cleanliness • Daily Tidying: • Please keep living areas tidy by storing personal items when not in use. • Wipe down surfaces in the kitchen and bathrooms after use to prevent stains and buildup. • Trash Disposal: • Dispose of trash regularly in the bins provided. Additional trash bags are located under the kitchen sink. • Take out the trash to the outdoor bins if full. Separate recyclables as indicated. 2. Kitchen Use • Dishes and Utensils: • Wash dishes and utensils after each use, either by hand or using the dishwasher. • Please empty the dishwasher before checkout if used. • Appliances: • Wipe down the stove, oven, and countertops after cooking to prevent spills from hardening. • Dispose of food items from the refrigerator before departure. 3. Bathroom Maintenance • Towels and Linens: • Hang up towels after use to help them dry and stay fresh. • If staying multiple nights, place used towels in the bathroom hampers. • Shower and Tub: • Please squeegee the shower walls and glass doors after each use to reduce soap scum. • Ensure the sink and countertop areas are kept dry and free of personal items. 4. Bedroom and Living Areas • Beds: • Please make your beds each morning to help keep the rooms organized. • Avoid eating or drinking in the bedrooms to prevent stains on linens and furniture. • Furniture: • Wipe down any spills or crumbs immediately to prevent stains. • Please do not move heavy furniture to avoid damage to the floors or walls. 5. Outdoor Areas • Patio and Pool: • Tidy up the outdoor seating areas after use and store any cushions in the storage bin if rain is expected. • Dispose of any trash from outdoor activities in the provided bins. • BBQ and Cooking Areas: • If you use

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
