About the Space

Purpel Studios in Burbank is a versatile, ready-to-use space tailored for content creators, YouTubers, podcasters, UGC creators, and entrepreneurs. The studio features two accent chairs perfect for podcast recordings and an adjustable-height desk for talking head videos, course recordings, or livestreams. Included in every booking is a main light with a lantern softbox on a heavy-duty stand with casters, plus an attachment for your camera. For added convenience, we offer a portable tripod compatible with cameras, phones, and GoPros, along with two RGB lights available as add-ons to create an engaging ambiance. Despite its compact size, Purpel Studios is thoughtfully equipped for flexibility. You'll find charging cables for iPhone and Android, a full-length mirror, a clothing rack with a steamer for wardrobe prep, and versatile props like a wooden stool, white ladder, and corner shelf for personalizing your setup. Faux plants are also available to enhance the aesthetics. As a content creator myself, I designed this space to meet the needs of my work and that of my clients. Space does not have natural light

Lighting description

No, the space does not have natural light as it is located inside the building without windows to the outside. There is a tinted window on the wall and door facing the hallway for privacy, so guests cannot be seen from outside while working.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The space is not soundproof, so it’s recommended to use a wireless mic while recording. The interior is suitable for audio recording, but depending on the time of day, you might hear sounds from neighboring offices. The space is quieter after 4 pm, making it ideal for recording at that time.

Equipment loading description

The studio is located on the first floor, with easy access to two restrooms and a kitchen on the same level. There is an additional kitchen with a sink and dining table upstairs for breaks. The main entrance is very close to the studio, allowing you to park in front and easily bring your equipment inside. No ramps are needed, and there is no designated loading zone, but equipment can be unloaded smoothly from nearby parking.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Please limit all shooting to inside the studio. Outdoor videos can be filmed on the street, but guests are asked not to disturb neighbors or film in common areas within the building.

Shooting the exterior of the building is not allowed

Electrical system description

The studio has outlets located on 3 walls, with 2 outlets per wall, totaling 6 outlets. Feel free to bring an extension cord if additional reach is needed.

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

• No Smoking. • No Alcohol. • No Pets Allowed. • No Food: Only water is allowed to prevent spills and damage to furniture. • Shoes on Carpet: Avoid wearing shoes on the white carpet. If needed for on-camera purposes, ensure the carpet stays clean. • Occupancy Limit: Maximum of 4 people in the space at a time. • Wall Care: No nails, screws, or staples should be used on the walls. Booking Time Rules: • Guests are welcome to arrive up to 10 minutes before their scheduled booking time for setup. • Grace Period: A 10-minute grace period after the booking end time is provided for minor delays. • Overage Fee (up to 30 minutes): If the booking extends up to 30 minutes beyond the scheduled time, a fee of 50% of the hourly rate ($27.50) will apply. • Overage Fee (more than 30 minutes): If the booking extends beyond 30 minutes, the full hourly rate ($55) will be charged for each additional hour or fraction thereof. • Please inform us if you need more time to avoid scheduling conflicts!

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Yes, furniture and decorations can be moved, but please inform me in advance if you require a specific setup so I can adjust larger pieces. Props and plants can be moved freely, and the desk is on wheels, making it easy to switch from a desk setup to a podcast setup. Furniture cannot be removed from the building.

We prioritize cleanliness and hygiene. The studio is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between bookings to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for every guest. High-contact surfaces and equipment are disinfected, and the space is organized and refreshed after each use. We take great care to maintain a tidy, welcoming studio for all content creators.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
