The Donald Honn designed space is a large (3200 sq ft) mid-century modern home that sits on 1.26 wooded acres. It has floor-to-ceiling windows, incredible light, terrazzo floors, walnut ceilings, stone and walnut built-ins, and artistic features. The lot is private, wooded, and sits on a hill. The style is reminiscent of the iconic Case Study homes that were built mostly in Southern California in the 50s. The space has decor that could be described as boho, Moroccan, minimalist, feminine, modern, or artsy and can be easily modified for a specific look. The space can be used for photo shoots, weddings, events/talks, political campaign events, or dinner parties. The oversized, sunken, open living room features a wall of windows that open to the terrace, an abstract modern fireplace flue, a built-in sofa and bookshelves, walnut features, terrazzo floors, and large plants. The double-sided fireplace opens also to the formal dining room, which features a large dining table that seats ten and can be closed off from the adjacent kitchen with a wall of walnut doors. The modern kitchen has original, quirky, colorful backsplash and walnut cabinets. The space also has two additional living areas with abundant light and room for entertaining and a guest bathroom. The oversized primary suite has a modern king-sized bed, sitting area, two bathrooms, a sweeping wooded view, two walls of windows, and access to the terrace. The two additional bedrooms have walnut built-ins, large windows, and share a jack-and-jill bathroom.
