Midcentury Meets Japan in Flexible Sacred Space

Our beautifully designed Quaker meetinghouse has everything you need for a contemplative retreat, meeting, social event or workshop. Our worship hall with water views of Lake Union seats up to 230 people under its soaring ceiling and massive skylights. This space has been used for weddings, meditation events, yoga retreats, and other sacred events. The worship hall is connected to the social through a light filled hallway with a modern version of traditional Japanese shoji walls. The hallway has a single person bathroom, and a coat rack area that includes pegs at children's height. Our social hall comes with tables and chairs to seat up to 180 people. It's been used for meetings, social events and dances, and pop up dinners. Our kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to serve a meal to a large group of people, including a commercial dishwasher, tables, chairs, and table cloths. We have two parking lots. One has about 20 spaces, the other 6. We are also across the street from a bus stop, and a 12 minute walk from the U District light rail station.
