Yes, I would host them again.
"Michael's group was friendly and their art looked exciting, but there was some tension between us as the shoot concluded. Michael did not book enough time to capture his footage. He booked 2 hours when he should have booked 4. Michael arrived 1 hour early. Because the space was available, I gave him the ok to begin early, for free. When it came time to wrap, our venue was still in disarray. Michael and his team chose to ignore me and ignore wrap time and simply kept filming as the next group of renters entered and shared the space with their loud shoot and sizable team, still in costume and dancing. They asked for 5 more minutes and proceeded to take 40 minutes. By the time they could focus on venue reset and load out, there was a level of urgency that they had no time to reset the venue, or even to guide me through all the ways they had altered it. They had no time to replace the extension cords they had removed, the nails they had uprooted, the set pieces they had overturned, no time to find the lamp part that had gone missing. At that point, the priority was to simply get out of the way of the next renters. I told Michael that I would charge him for an extra hour to cover the cost of the replacement lamp, and to cover the time it will take me to repair our venue's balloon tent. Michael became alarmed at the mention of the extra charge. He used time that he wasn't prepared to pay for, and the consequence was an uncomfortable beginning to the rental after his, and a bunch of work and expenses on my shoulders. I support and understand artists working on a tight budget, but I wish this could have been a less stressful interaction."
