Kate Pauley knows the power of a dinner party. Inspired by the southern hospitality of her childhood in Texas, Kate founded Create Dinners<\/a> in May 2016 to host creative workshops and dinner parties throughout New York City that build community by gathering friends and strangers alike around the table to find meaningful connections. Kate and her team brought their latest social event to life in this stunning former factory building in Brooklyn<\/a> that she booked through Peerspace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI personally love hosting in a new space. Most Create Dinners events are in new spaces \u2013 Peerspace is a great resource for finding one. For us, they\u2019re like blank canvases. Kate\u2019s latest event, titled Sourdough<\/em><\/a>, was a multi-course dining experience designed for guests to bond over a thoughtfully planned menu prepared by chefs Abigail Kirn<\/a> and Carlos De La Concha<\/a>, formerly at The French Laundry and Eleven Madison Park. To bring this gathering to life, Kate needed a space with specific features to support all the moving parts of this event – including multiple gathering areas and a fully equipped kitchen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter: Peerspace. Kate found this event space<\/a> in that fulfilled all her needs. With high ceilings, a modern shaker kitchen, and tables and chairs included with the venue, Chelsea\u2019s Williamsburg space provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of delicious food and meaningful conversation. Guests even received questions and prompts<\/a> with each course to facilitate connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
