No detail is overlooked in the Falling Leaves<\/a>, a rural compound and artist retreat nestled in the forest just twenty minutes west of Austin. Both aesthetic and practical, this home was designed to host and entertain. The best part? You can book it for your next event on Peerspace<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Falling Leaves was built in 2007 and designed by world renowned architectural firm Bercy Chen<\/a>. As noted by the artist, \u201cthe Falling Leaves is inspired by the shapes and curled edges of falling oak leaves, Bercy Chen Studio incorporated this imagery as a design motif for a series of sheltering pavilion roofs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping inside the Falling Leaves, guests are greeted by floor-to-ceiling glass windows that offer a sense of immersion in nature. The furniture inside was hand-selected by designer and owner Mary Mandel<\/a> and creates an artful balance with the minimalist structure of the home surrounding it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The space provides plenty of options for gathering: outside around the see-through aquarium glass pool, around a forged steel fire pit with built-in seating, or at the outdoor dining table derived from a lightning-struck cedar tree found in the Italian Alps. Multiple places to gather make this a great space for events, allowing guests plenty of room to mix and mingle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Mandel notes, \u201cthis venue can host up to 200 guests and offers wide ranging versatility making it the perfect spot for everything from retreats and photoshoots to large scale corporate networking events, weddings, and more.\u201d Recent bookings include a photoshoot by clothing brand Psycho Bunny<\/a>, a VIP luncheon by magazine Tribeza<\/a>, and a private event by luxury development company Sanctuary<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
