This bucolic location of rolling hills and large pastures is incredibly scenic. Located in the historic Hudson Valley, our farm raises award-winning alpacas prized for their beautiful, colorful fleeces. In addition to the farm's 13 alpacas, we have two handsome, friendly Icelandic Horses, making for a unique and peaceful setting. A renovated 1,600 square foot barn (heated and air-conditioned), filled with antique spinning wheels, is used as a farm store, selling all kinds of handmade alpaca garments. The farm store has been used for seminars, workshops and meetings for up to 30 people. This renovated sheep barn has abundant light with windows on three sides and four skylights above. We also have a large, 1,500 square foot (unheated) hay loft in which we host events, such as dances and engagement parties. It's used for an annual fundraising square dance with seating and dancing/standing for up to 60 people. This barn is a working farm space and doesn't have windows, but it has two 12' wide sliding doors and abundant power outlets. Both barns are quiet and private. Our on-site farm manager can help you determine which space best fits your needs. She can also bring you in the fields with the alpacas and horses. We can add a tent in addition to the barn rentals for an extra charge. Outside catering and beverage services are permitted or the host can arrange these for you. Being surrounded by beautiful alpacas and horses add to the true country ambiance of this lovely farm setting. Our location has been used by fashion magazines, theater groups, The Martha Stewart Show and independent photographers looking for a beautiful, unique country setting.
