1,850 sq ft (main house + guest house) modern bungalow in South Santa Monica (near Venice and Mar Vista), conveniently located off the 10 freeway. The home offers multiple distinct shooting environments across a generous lot.
THE KITCHEN — our hero room. Custom cabinetry in slate blue with marble countertops, brass hardware, globe pendants, kitchen island, and wood dining table seating 8. Vaulted ceilings and windows on multiple sides deliver gorgeous natural light all day.
THE LIVING ROOM — vaulted ceilings, fireplace, mid-century furnishings, and warm natural light throughout the day. Flows directly into the kitchen for wide, open compositions.
THE BACKYARD — a fully developed outdoor production environment with multiple zones: grass lawn, pebble patio, deck off the kitchen, outdoor lounge seating, large dining table, and mature hedging on all sides for complete privacy. The property sits on a hill, giving windows and exterior shots views of palm trees and open sky.
THE FRONT — decorated porch, modern front door, landscaped entry. Ideal for establishing shots, fashion, and lifestyle content.
THE BEDROOMS — large master bedroom and a styled teen/secondary bedroom, both camera-ready for lifestyle, parenting, and fashion shoots.
THE BATHROOMS — two bathrooms on property. The primary bathroom is a standout shoot space: deep green subway tile, botanical wallpaper, wood vanity, soaking tub, and brass fixtures — frequently used for beauty, skincare, and wellness content. The second bathroom is reserved for crew use, meaning talent and crew restrooms stay separate without the need for portable facilities on most productions.
THE BACK STUDIO — a private, fully separate structure with its own entrance, ideal for multiple production functions:
• Hair, makeup and wardrobe
• Talent holding
• Video village / crew base
• On-set classroom for productions working with young actors
• Secondary shoot space
Having a dedicated, separate production support space means your crew and talent operate completely independently of your hero spaces — keeping the main house pristine and camera-ready all day.
We have hosted shoots for major fashion brands, lifestyle campaigns, commercials, music videos, and social media content. Between inside and outside, the property comfortably accommodates crews of up to 40 people.
Santa Monica doesn't require a permit for filming as long as production stays on property (Permits are not required for purely private, non-commercial use, or when filming entirely indoors without public impact, as outlined in Chapter 6.110: FILM PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. )
