Musician's Rustic Laurel Canyon Cabin

This one-of-a-kind, rustic cabin in Laurel Canyon was built in the 1940's as a weekend hunting-lodge and is amazingly still standing and available for use today! Great attention has been put into preserving the character of the space and it continues to embody an authentic charm that is often referred to as the quintessential Laurel Canyon aesthetic. This property looks great on camera and hosts dozens of photo shoots a year with the fashion and entertainment industries as well as furniture, design, and lifestyle brands. The great room features a gorgeous chandelier, 10 ft. picture windows, brick fireplace, expansive record and book collection with rolling library ladder, meticulously curated mid-century furniture, jukebox, piano, original art, plants, and 15 ft. high exposed-beam ceilings. There is also an interior green-house/sun-room that gets gorgeous light and atmosphere is a very popular part of the house for shooting as well. The exterior of the house has aged redwood siding, custom stained-glass windows and a wide variety of native Laurel Canyon flora and fauna as it's surroundings. In the back yard, there is a detached guest-cabin/music-studio with wrap-around deck that gives a greater height to the views of the canyon. Also in the backyard are a pair of mature oak trees featuring a set of rattan rope-swing chairs. Words often used to describe the property are bohemian, creative, rustic, and authentic. The property does well with photo shoots because it offers stylish and unique interiors as well as wild and expansive exterior atmospheres. On top of the natural beauty of the house and property itself, there is a wide variety of items throughout the home (furniture, plants, antiques, textiles, instruments, etc.) that serve as excellent resources for creating a wide variety of unique settings for the images. Things can be moved around and swapped in and out as needed to fulfill the needs of the project. If anyone in the party arrives early, the booking will reflect the time they arrived as the new start-time. Over-time will be calculated in 15 minute increments if the party exceeds the original booking window of time. Any amount of people that might show up to the property exceeding the number listed in the booking will be taken into account and added to the booking total upon completion.
