An ideal location for small social events, casual dinner parties and BBQs, game nights with friends, al fresco movie nights, and more. Please provide an overview of your plans for the event (Event Plan) in your booking inquiry (include reason for event, food/beverage vision and budget, general information about attendees, music/sound, and any other relevant information). Further information may be requested. Included Features: - Full home kitchen w/ 4-burner gas stove/oven, fridge, dishwasher, water dispenser, fridge ice-maker, and assorted plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans, utensils, and supplies - Private Courtyard w/ seating & firepit (firewood and starter sticks can be provided with advance notice and additional cost) - 2 x CHARCOAL BBQ grills (charcoal and starter sticks can be provided with advance notice and additional cost) - Main floor living room w/ 43" Roku Smart TV - 1.5 bathrooms - Front porch - Board games & puzzles **PLEASE NOTE: Renters must use our private chef partners or apply for an exemption to use a third party caterer/chef for all food/beverage to be prepared on premise. Caterers/Private Chefs must carry professional licensing, $100,000 in liability insurance, event insurance (with alcohol rider for events where alcohol will be provided or served), and sign a separate facility use agreement with the host. Renters wishing to procure and provide off-site/delivered food must obtain an event insurance policy. Details will be provided during the booking process. Upstairs bedrooms and basement will be locked and inaccessible to guests unless arrangements are made in advance to accommodate special requests/needs. TRANSPORTATION/PARKING This property is within easy walking distance of both NoMa/Galludet and Union Station Metro Stops, the H St Streetcar, and several buslines. Street parking is restricted for Zone 6 residents with resident permits only and has limited availability. We can provide a visitor parking permit for ONE vehicle. There is a parking lot half a block south, which is owned by a local church. With advance notice, arrangements can be made to use their parking lot for an additional fee (up to ~30 vehicles). Valet service can also be arranged. THINGS TO NOTE: The entrance is located up several steps, there are stairs inside the home, and the courtyard is accessed down a few steps. This property is not handicap accessible and may be difficult to maneuver for certain disabilities or mobility limitations. The owner lives on site in the carriage house behind the courtyard and may be present for the duration of the event.

Health and Safety Measures

The entire house is professionally cleaned between each reservation and high touch surfaces are disinfected. Renters are responsible for ensuring their guests are vaccinated or tested prior to the even to prevent exposure.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30-day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and seven days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than seven days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
