Our 550 sqft studio with kitchenette located in the heart of Midtown is perfect for your next branding session or video shoot! The studio is bathed with light in the morning and comes with lighting equipment included. LOCATION: Studio is located at 580 8th Ave., steps away from A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W, 7 & S trains and 1 block from Port Authority. NATURAL LIGHT: Studio has large windows facing south — best light in the morning. If you are looking for sun rays, the best time is between 10am-4pm. FURNITURE: You can use all furniture shown in the pics during your booking. EQP: Comes with all the standard equipment and fixtures you need to have an amazing production with your crew, including one Flashpoint Rapid 400 strobe with a softbox and a universal transmitter (please note: this is a strobe, not a continuous/video light), and triggers for Nikon, Canon, Fuji and Sony. See the complete list below! BACKDROP CHOICES: We offer 6 colors of backdrops and charge $30.00 per seamless pull. If you would like another color, please let us know 72 hrs in advance, and we will stock it for you for $110. Check the colors below! We also have dark green and gray fabric backdrops, and a green screen backdrop. CLEAN: We keep our studios absolutely clean - we are a bit obsessive about that! ON-SITE HELP: $25 per backdrop for seamless backdrop set up assistance $50 for strobes and/or continuous lights set up assistance $250 for entire set up assistance (strobes and/or continuous lights, backdrop, vflats) MUSIC: Talk to our Alexa devices and listen to your favorite station on Spotify! **PLEASE NOTE** - To keep the studio affordable for our clients, we don't charge a standard cleaning fee. Therefore, we request our clients to upkeep the space and leave it in the way it was presented to them at the starting of their session. If the space is left unclean or disorganized, we will need to charge you a cleaning fee of $35. - No entry code or uncertainties on how to get in the studio. We will greet you on your arrival and make sure that you are well settled in the space and have what you need. - We typically respond within an hour, we can send you a video or show you the space if you would like to see it before booking and remain in touch to help answer any last-minute questions. - BUILDING ACCESS: When you arrive, look up "Centra Studios" by name on the door panel and call it — there are no buzzer numbers. Doormen are on duty weekdays 8 AM–6 PM only (no doormen on weekends). The freight elevator is only available weekdays 8 AM–6 PM. - Please note there are security cameras in the studio. - PARKING: We’re in Midtown Manhattan — there’s no easy parking. Street parking is occasionally available and parking garages are nearby. - CLEANING: Please cut dirty paper and put things back where you saw them. Bring trash out to the larger bins in the hallway.
