The Compound are committed to providing a thoroughly cleaned and safe location for your companies needs. Cleaners are on site before and after hires to ensure that high touch areas remain hygienic.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High-touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitiser

About the Space

The Compound is a multi-functional space located in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter. This 12,000 square foot former textile factory has been used by some of the leading players in film, music and media. It contains its own 25 seat cinema, bar, art studio and three self-contained living spaces. Incredible as a location for a multi purpose company retreat or away day, as well as conferences & meetings.

Parking description

The winter garden entrance can hold 2-3 cars but may interfere with your filming. Opposite the house there is bay parking - permits are required but you can hire the spaces for 8 hour days for roughly £60

General Rules

Furniture- you're welcome to move furniture around but please put it back Artwork- please be careful around art and ensure no furniture is leaning on it Rubbish- you must take your own rubbish / recycling with you upon departure Overnight- we don't allow overnight stays but you're welcome to keep equipment on site

All ages are allowed in the space

Security cameras and recording devices

Video only - will be on at all times - front entrance, winter garden, office space

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
