About the Space
Komorebi (the play of light through the trees) is a secluded 20 acre property nestled in an oak grove only five minutes to Historic Downtown Julian. The property includes a Main House overlooking a train track with Disney history and a cedar hot tub.
Walt Disney's animator, Ollie Johnston formally owned the property. The train track on site used to be home to a live steam engine train by the name of 'Marie E' (named after Ollie's wife). Native American grinding holes can also be found onsite near the home.
